The Botley and Curdridge Foundation is dedicated to supporting people across the parishes of Botley and Curdridge, including Boorley Green. We accept referrals from local charities, organisations, professionals and members of the community who have identified a person or family in need.

General Grants Policy (see “Application of Income” in the Trust Deeds for full details)
Grants are given either generally or individually to persons (child or adult) who are in condition of need, hardship or distress, and who reside in the catchment area of the parishes of Botley (including Boorley Green) and Curdridge.
This may include paying for services or facilities by way of donations to institutions or organisations which provide or undertake in return to provide such items, services or facilities for those in need.
In exceptional circumstances the Trustees may grant relief to persons in need who are resident immediately outside the said parishes, or who are temporarily living within the parishes.
Trustees cannot commit to repeating or renewing the relief grant for any reason.
Donation/Grants Policy
Where a Grant application is received (which conforms to the criteria required by the Botley and Curdridge Foundation Grant Application Form) and the value of the grant does not exceed £1500, the application must be approved by a minimum of 3 Trustees.
Larger grant applications of over £1500 must be approved by minimum of 4 Trustees.
Small Grants Policy
In order to give more certainty to our supporters and to reduce the amount of administration for the Foundation we will operate the following policy when dealing with small grants of £20 or less. This will not prevent the people involved from making applications for other grants in the normal way.
Where we can work with named people in an organisation who we believe have the appropriate judgment and knowledge, we will adopt an annual small giving scheme. For example, where a school has a Headteacher and a Welfare Officer who can assess the needs of a pupil or family in their care.
We will make available a fund of up to £200 for the year which can be donated to individuals for emergency needs of £20 or under per Grant. The nominated individual can send us an email when the grant is promised and know that it will be honored. The payment will be made to the organisation for passing on as necessary. It will assist us if we can be told the purpose e.g. a piece of equipment or clothing etc.
The Foundation must receive a request from the nominated individual representative before payment will be made.
This will allow the nominated individuals to agree a payment without having to be authorised by at least 3 of the Foundation’s Trustees, speeding up the process for small applications.
